Hello Ladies of the JMBB!!
The Marriage and Claims Council (“MACC”) is primarily charged with overseeing the Claiming Game. This includes, but is not limited to, keeping track of the heroes that have been claimed by the ladies that post on the JMBB, and making sure that their BB wives meet the posting requirements. Most of the questions relating to the Claiming Game are addressed on our website at: http://www.geocities.com/jmbb_macc/Claiming_Guidelines.htm Right now, we'd like to announce the results of our current ballot that so many of you voted on. 1. Effective May 1, the wives of main heroes will be required to post 10 different DAYS a CALENDAR month. Those wives will still be required to have 5 days of posts for the month of April. Main heroes are: Spencer Addison Zachary Benedict Nicki Duville Matt Farrell Jason Fielding Ramon Galverra Cole Harrison Noah Maitland Nick Sinclair Ian Thornton Jordan Townsende Michael Valente Clayton Westmoreland Stephen Westmoreland Royce Westmoreland Mitchell Wyatt 2. The wives of non-main heroes will continue to post 5 DAYS a calendar month.
3. Effective May 1, wives will be able to ask for ONE leave of absence per year for up to 30 days. Of course, if there is an emergency situation then an "extra" leave will be considered. 4. If a married lady on the BB would like to compete for another hero she will NOT be forced to give up her current husband in order to compete.
5. New ladies on the BB will still have to be at the BB for 30 days (and post 5 days within that 30 day period) in order to claim a man.
6. If a wife loses her claim, she will still have to wait 30 days (and post 5 days within that 30 day period) in order to claim once again. As a point of clarification, we would like to specifically address how BB wives’ posting days are counted. MACC uses the server time zone, i.e., "0" time offset in hours. We do our best to count all posting days, however, we do not have access to your time zone setting, and cannot always verify whether or not you posted immediately before or after midnight your time. The time zone setting can make the difference in how we determine whether someone that posted twice in one day or once on two individual days. e.g., you may post on June 1st at 11:45 p.m. and June 2nd at 12:06 a.m. in your time zone. However, these posts will appear as June 1st at 10: 45 p.m. and June 1st at 11:06 p.m. in MACC’s time zone.
Once you receive a strike, the burden of proving your posting days rests with you. If you believe that you received a strike in error, please do not hesitate to bring this to our attention so we can conduct a review. To determine your time zone setting, click to “My Stuff” and then “My Preferences.” Scroll down to “Choose your time offset in hours: (..,-2,-1,0,1,2,..)”. In the box underneath is your setting. Again, MACC’s time zone setting is set to 0. We will be making this topic a "sticky post." Whenever we have new information we will post it on this topic. However, we will continue to post a separate topic to announce the monthly strikes.
Should you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact us via e-mail at JMBB_MACC@yahoo.com. This e-mail account is monitored frequently.
Thank you, S.L. Farrell Jenn Fielding Loralee Hammund Queenie Maitland Di Westmoreland
